So you’ve decided to visit Bangkok? You’re not going to be disappointed in your choice of travel destination – it’s an amazing and versatile city with plenty to do and see. One of the best things about Bangkok being that now cheap flights to Bangkok are widely available, and because the city is so affordable – your holiday can either be on a budget or you can splurge your cash!

So where should you be spending your money and more importantly – your time? We’ve put together a list of the five best places to visit during your stay. Hopefully providing you with a variety of things to do and see!

The Grand Palace in the Old City – This is perhaps on the most beautiful and historic places in this great city. The Grand Palace was built in 1782 and is a stunning collection of buildings that for a 150 years were home to the Thai King and The Thai Government. Now it is a protected historical site which you can experience and visit yourself. Cameras are allowed here so you can take loads of photos of the stunning grounds, but make sure you remain respectful inside as there are many temples and religious artifacts.

The Floating Market – This attraction is definitely a must-see! Climb on board your own boat and drift along through the traders (who are also in boats) and collect your holiday shopping. The traders sell everything from gifts to groceries so you’ll really be spoilt for choice. It is an experience you’ll have no where else in the world, so it is something you won’t want to miss.

Khao San Road – Although Bangkok is a city seeped in culture – you might also want to let your hair down at some point. Maybe you’ve just got off your flight to Bangkok and you need to relax for the night with a good drink and some good music? This is the place to go. Khao San Road is a fantastic hub of East and West and the vibe and energy is fantastic. Filled with clubs, bars, cafes and restaurants, there is something for everyone here.

Chao Phraya Riverbanks – Take a river cruise along the beautiful Chao Phraya riverbanks and enjoy the gorgeous views one evening or perhaps walk along the riverbanks instead. Either way this area of Bangkok is a spectacular place to spend your time. For a some truly amazing views, make your way up to the rooftop bars in one of the many 5* hotels and you’ll be able to see for miles around.

The Temple of Dawn - Lastly, you should visit The Temple of Dawn. You might recognise this temple as it is one of the most beautiful in all of Asia (so often used on postcards). This attraction won’t disappoint. Plan your visit so you can witness the beautiful architecture at sunrise or sunset, and watch the colours and the patterns of the building come to life.

	Why travel insurance is necessary

There are professors willing to give another chance in case essay writing coursework’s fail. It is one offer though, that you pray you will not have to grab. Travel insurance works likewise. It is valuable, but at the same time, is something you hope to never use.

Travel insurance serves as a financial protection from unforeseen events. You will never wish for something bad to happen during your trip. Accidents are unexpected, though, and you cannot afford compromising you and your family's safety.

Here are 5 factors to help you decide whether to buy or not to buy travel insurance.

Travel interruptions. It is hard to get stuck in a place where there is language barrier. It becomes even harder when you experience travel interruptions. Your flight can get delayed anytime. You might all of sudden need to cancel your trip. You will have to get back home as your child is joining an inter-school essay writing competition.

Changing itinerary is a waste of cost, time and effort. You were not able to use the services you have paid for, but here you are again, booking another trip, and settling additional charges. Travel insurance can help you get by during these cases, particularly when fees are non-refundable.

Lost belongings. You have just bought the latest laptop model you have long been eyeing on. You are all thrilled to finally get to use it on your travel. Then the bag gets lost in the plane's overhead bin. Apparently, somebody has mistaken it as theirs. Now you regret bringing the laptop with you. With travel insurance, stressful incidents such as baggage loss can be remedied.

Medical assistance. If you will have to be brought to the nearest hospital, which by the way means another country since you are currently in a cruise ship, that would needless to say, cost a lot that it could leave you cash-strapped. You might end up regretting declining the essay writing job a peer offered before you left.

If you have travel insurance, you can relax knowing that should similar circumstance arise, medical expenses are covered. That would include medical transportation, and consultation fees. In case doctors advise that you return home, the travel insurance can also cover repatriation costs.

Verify the maximum amount the insurance company is providing as medical assistance, so you are prepared in case you will have to deduct from the savings you have earned, offering essay writer services.

Personal liabilities. You might trip over and accidentally damage somebody else's costly possession. In such instances, travel insurance can back you up.

Travel documents. Important travel documents might get lost in transit. You know that identification cards and passports are requisite to survival when you are travelling abroad.

Cheap is not synonymous to best buy

Do not be lured to purchasing cheap travel insurance. Be as sceptic as your essay writing advisors. Ensure that the insurance suits your needs. The travel insurance policy might state that it covers cancellation instances, but beware as the company may only allow financial assistance on certain grounds.

Do not get fooled, review policy

Read the travel insurance policy carefully. The coverage per type of insurance differs per company. There are those packages that do not cover extreme adventures or pre-acquired illnesses. If you are fond of adrenaline rush-inducing activities, or somebody in the household is under a medical condition, check with your travel agent whether the insurance can cater to these particular needs.

Essay writing experts online would not be able to deliver quality outputs, if clients would not participate in the work process. In the same vein, travellers have varying concerns. Travel agents would not be able to assist you well if you would not speak up.

German cuisine is more than just sausages and sauerkraut. In the past, it has been described as unhealthy and stodgy, however since borrowing a few techniques from neighbours France and Italy, Germany now boasts quite a diverse culinary repertoire.

Cooking techniques left over from the older times are still prevalent in the cuisine today, pickling, salting and drying meats and fish is still popular with people today. These methods originated in ancient times when the growing seasons were shorter and storing food when the crops were large was difficult. Pickling, salting and drying served to not only preserve the meats and vegetables, but also cultivated a unique cuisine.

Nowadays, while the cooking methods might include these old ideals, modern German cuisine is lighter with a larger range of spices and sides. If you visit Germany, don’t miss out on sampling traditional German foods, washed down with a cold beer. If you fancy yourself a cook, then try your hand at preparing a few German dishes yourself. You can take cooking classes, or alternatively, renting apartments in Berlin is inexpensive, and you will have your own kitchen to experiment in.

The epicentre of political power in the United States and one of the most important political centres in the world, Washington DC manages to be impressive without being austere, pretty without being kitsch, and is one of the few major cities that operates despite, not because of the tourist industry. Famous for its ‘no skyscrapers’ rule, the clear-sighted views across the city from every quarter reveal a mixture of Regency, Georgian and Victorian architecture, imposing granite and marble buildings, iconic monuments and structures around every corner and surprisingly generous green spaces which prevent the city from feeling quite as crowded as some of its powerhouse counterparts. The pristine dome of the Capitol Building can be seen from almost anywhere in the city, a reassuring bearing as well as a reminder struck through the city of its significance and purpose on the international scene. With cheap flights to Washington available across the airlines, now’s a better time than any to visit.

It is impossible to visit Washington without doing the obligatory tour of the Big Three: the White House, Lincoln Memorial, and Congress. The famous White House Tour is tricky to procure – you will need to contact your Embassy and book well in advance as they operate on a first-come first-served basis – but worth it for the sheer novelty of being able to walk through the halls and select rooms of a house that not only operates as a political base but also as a fully functional working home to the President and his family. A photo collection provides a surprisingly candid glimpse into the life and history of the presidents who have lived here, and though the tour is self-guided, children can request a Junior Rangers Guide. Over at the Lincoln Memorial, the atmosphere is more jovial, with visitors clambering up the marble steps remembering or reconstructing in their mind’s eye the many famous speeches delivered from this point out to the city and its people. This also the spot from which to gain the best views out onto Capitol Hill and the city – a perfect photo opportunity.

Under the shadow of these and other political monuments, the Washington locals are fiercely intellectual, and the young and trendy who have emigrated here in search of a particular American Dream debate over wine and beer in the many bars well into the evening. But they are friendly, too, and in the evening the bar and café culture is thriving. Try the Adams-Morgan district for a good mix of uptown eateries and bars. Or if you’re going during the day, you’ll want to carve out time for a visit to trendy Georgetown.

If the whizz and whirr of the political machine has made you feel a little dizzy, then The Mall is the place to unwind and immerse yourself in more cultural pursuits. Most of the Smithsonian institutes can be found in this prestigious part of the city, showcasing collections that chart the history of the city (National Museum of American History) to the world’s largest collection of historic air- and spacecraft (The National Air and Space Museum). Highlights include the stunningly extensive Asian art collection at the Freer Gallery, and innovative use of outdoor space in the Sculpture Garden at the National Galley of Art. For a more intimate, downtown art centre, head to Dupont Circle in the northwest of the city, a historic district brimming with laid-back creative folk who hang out in the famous Kramer’s bookshop, several private art collections and a lively chess community. The centre of the Circle is a popular meeting and hang-out spot, with park benches, grassy patches and a fountain.

With the help of a good Low Cost Airline Guide, it is now very easy to find cheap flights to virtually anywhere in the world. There are some fabulous deals to take on indeed. However, you can’t pursue the flight deals unless you know where you want to go. For an unforgettable vacation, I would like to suggest Macedonia as your next destination.

The Macedonia Tourist Office is providing tourists with all the information they need. The officers are also very helpful; you don’t have to worry about other things and can just relax with help just one phone call away.

Macedonia offers gorgeous beaches and luxurious resorts just by the beach. You can even have a private beach to enjoy with your travel companion. The gorgeous blue sky and the slightly green sea in front of you will make you feel refreshed and can help you reduce some of the tensions you might be building up.

Don’t forget to also visit the The City of the immortal Ohrid, especially if you are in the area. The gorgeous lake in front of it opens up a whole new level of holiday activities.

All you need to do now is contact Wizzair – or other low cost airline you may prefer – and make the necessary arrangements for your next fabulous holiday. The entire trip will still be very affordable and you will be able to enjoy the holiday even more without worrying about work or other distracting things in your life.

France is a nation with a republic government type that gets its independence in the year 486. With a population of around 60 million people scattered on 180,000 square miles of land, France has a lot of charms that attract millions of travellers to come to this country. Aside from the famous Eiffel Tower, The Louvre Museum and The Arc de Triomphe located in Paris, France also has other attractions that are less famous but has the same grandeur like the country’s capital city. Come to Toulouse, the fourth largest city in France that is known as a place for spaceflight and aviation for the past 20 years. About 10% of the city population work in the civil aviation industry and despite the economic boom, the historic city is still unchanged.

To get to Toulouse, you can buy a flight ticket to Blagnac Airport that is located about 20 minutes from the city. This world-class airport serves passengers from the inside and outside the country as well including popular places like London and Munich. From the airport, you can employ car hire France that is strategically placed at the airport for your travelling convenience.

One of the most popular places to visit in Toulouse is the Saint-Sermin basilica, a Romanesque building that is known as the biggest in the western world. The sheer size and beauty of this building has never fail to amaze the visitors of this place. This building is open to visitors all year except on the 25th December which is the Christmas Day in France. The entry fee to this building is free unless you want to enter the crypt for only €2. It is truly remarkable that this building still stand strong after a thousand years and the use of bricks in building he cathedral adds a sense of warmth and lightness to the surroundings.

Other places that you must visit in Toulouse are the Capitole, Pont-Neuf and George Labit Museum which is unique and special in its own way. Aside from visiting places, you can also spend your time walking through the city along the Canal du Midi which is a great place for you to watch the beauty of this city or you can also have a walk along the Garonne River. Toulouse is also a hub for students from all over the world to continue their degrees so you can expect parties and events to be held throughout the year. In conclusion, Toulouse is a perfect place for those who are searching for a humble city to spend your time visiting historical places in the day and have a small party during the night.

Hurghada is Egypt’s chief tourist hub and second biggest city on the coast of the Red Sea. Established in the early part of the 20th century, Hurghada has transitioned from a small fishing town to the foremost seaside resort with holiday towns and lodging to provide for sea sports.

The beach at Hurghada extends for approximately 22 miles and does not expand into the desert.

The town divides into three parts: El Dahar, the Downtown, is the oldest part of the town; Sekalla is the centre of the city; and El Memsha, also called the Village Road, is the latest sections. Other sections are Sakkala, the location of the hotels, and Dahar that houses the town’s market, post office, and bus station.

Vacationers can fly into the Hurghada International Airport that is serviced with flights from Cairo and nonstop flights from European cities.

Hurghada is famous for its water sports, nightclubs and semitropical and desert weather with summer lasting 12 months a year, with temperatures moderating from December through February being reasonably warm, May and October being hot and March and April being the hottest.

San Francisco Airport, abbreviated to SFO, is located in San Mateo County, California, a mere 13 miles from the downtown San Francisco area. Second only to Los Angeles in size among California airports, it ranks at the tenth busiest airport in the United States, and the 20th busiest in the world. It is a major hub for several major airlines, and offers passengers incredible amenities, shops, dining establishments, and even museums.

In 1927, the airport was opened on what was essentially 150 acres of pasture for cows. It was named Mills Field until the name changed to the current San Francisco Airport in 1931. More carriers began using the airport following World War II, specifically for trips to Hawaii. In 1954, a new and larger passenger terminal was built at the airport, and since then rapid expansion has taken place. The airport revealed a $1 billion dollar terminal for passengers that opened in 2000, and in 2003 the airport became one of the first to provide public transportation directly from the arrival and departure terminals for passengers.

San Francisco Airport boasts 4 terminals and 7 concourses, each arranged in ring like formation that is quite brilliant when seen at night. Three terminals serve primarily domestic flights, while the fourth is almost exclusively devoted to international flights. It is a prime airport for flights leaving to Asia, thanks to the location along the Pacific Ocean. The busiest routes to and from San Francisco Airport come from the following cities: Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, Denver, and Seattle. The airport is a major hub for United Airlines, as well as the principal base of operations for Virgin America.

The airport offers several invaluable services to passengers travelling through the terminal. You can find a post office, baggage assistance and storage, pet relief area, a bank, a spa, a medical clinic, customs information, and currency exchange, among countless others. In addition, there are some great ways to spend your time while at the airport, including an aquarium, two museums, a reflection room, a reading room, a USO lounge, and even a kid’s spot with playground equipment and games to keep children entertained.

If you are looking for a place to eat in the San Francisco Airport, your options are nearly limitless. Standard fast food and sandwich fare are of course available, along with plenty of cafes and coffee shops if you are in a rush to your next flight. If you have some time to relax and enjoy a world class meal however, consider stopping in at one of the Japanese, Asian Fusion, Italian, or seafood dining establishments, each with incredible chefs preparing elegant and delicious meals.

The shopping selection at the San Francisco Airport means no matter what you are looking for, you are certain to find it within one of the terminals. Pick up a magazine or the latest novel from one of the bookstores, and savour some Ghirardelli chocolates to bring home a sweet taste of San Francisco with you. There are also places to purchase clothes, jewellery, electronics, and sporting equipment.

A week sunning yourself on a beach can be a great way to spend a holiday, but that isn’t to say it is the only kind of break you can enjoy. In fact, there are several alternatives to this holiday which can prove to be just as much, if not more, fun! Just be sure to check any holidays prices online at sites such as www.travelsupermarket.com for the best deals.

If the prospect of doing nothing but sunbathe for a few days doesn’t appeal and you want to be a little more active, a winter sports holiday could be ideal for you.

Head to continental Europe for this kind of break and there will be a range of top-quality resorts where you can both ski and snowboard. Many of these are situated high in the Alps, but while there are plenty of challenging runs for experienced winter sport enthusiasts there are lots which are suitable for beginners, with most resorts offering classes for people of all levels of ability.

Make Hintertuxer in Austria the destination for your break and you’ll be able to ski all year round, even in the middle of summer. France, Italy and Switzerland are just some of the other great places for a ski holiday, so there’ll be lots of choice.

However, Europe is not your only option and you’ll also find fantastic winter sport resorts in the United States and Canada.

Visit the former and you’ll have the chance to test your skills at Aspen and Breckenridge, while Sun Peaks is among the top-quality resorts in the latter. Alternatively, Banff, situated in the Alberta Rockies, could be the ideal place for a winter sports holiday. Here there are 107 skiable runs, the longest of which is five miles.

For a slightly more relaxing break, why not choose a cruise holiday? The popularity of this kind of trip has grown in recent years and you’ll be able to enjoy fantastic amenities and services onboard modern, high-tech vessels while travelling between destinations.

Book a cruise holiday and you may want to go on a tour of the Mediterranean, where you could moor up at bustling port cities such as Barcelona, Florence and Cannes.

But with cruises available that circle the UK and Ireland, take you on tours of the Caribbean and explore the beautiful fjords and waterfalls of Scandinavia, this kind of holiday can be a great way to visit a number of destinations during a single trip.

Similar in nature to cruise breaks, rail tours can be a fantastic alternative to a beach holiday. They also allow you to stop by several places and as you travel you’ll be able to watch the world go by from the comfort of your seat. This means that your holiday will be able to start from the minute you step onboard your first train.

With the Eurostar running from St Pancras, taking rail journeys across Europe could not be easier. Why not go on a tour of some of the continent’s most iconic cities, such as Vienna, Budapest, Berlin and Prague?

If you’d rather spend a few months away, as opposed to a week or fortnight, a backpacking holiday could be the way to satisfy your wanderlust.

Many people choose to travel through south-east Asia on a backpacking trip, taking in countries such as Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.

Australia and New Zealand are two other extremely popular backpacking destinations. Here, you’ll be able to visit natural wonders such as the Milford Sound and Ayers Rock, although many travellers also choose to spend time in bustling cosmopolitan cities like Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney.

But what is the future of holidays? Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic company is currently in the stages of offering people the chance to travel into space from a spaceport in New Mexico in the coming years. With flights predicted to cost $200,000 (around £120,000), it will hardly be a budget break, but it is almost certain to be an experience that is out of this world!

With so many alternatives to the typical beach holiday, you’ll never be spoilt for choice for places to go and things to do.
